ASC 5 too radical clean with Deep care ?

I have used ASC4 Pro for some time without a problem. Since I have update to version 5.0.0.150, My Pinnacle Studio 15 program does not work anymore after "Deep Care" (standard settings), I cannot start the program. An image restore to ASC4 state, solves the problem only.
ASC5 "Deep Care" does a too radical clean ?
